I had the opportunity to attend a Fashion Show at my Alma Mater Morgan State University! My freshman year roommate is a Model for on the on-campus clubs and I wanted to show my support. I figured this moment would be the perfect time to wear my thrifted Floral Blazer and these Fuchsia pants I  purchased from ASOS I never wore. The outfit ended up working out so well I was extremely excited! I received tons of compliments and felt extremely comfortable and chic for the event!

Wedding Bliss

I was invited to one of my co-workers wedding a few weeks ago and was absolutely delighted! Weddings are such amazing moments, seeing two people who genuinely love each other and make it official to share the commitment for a lifetime with one another is such a great thing to witness Anyway, I decided being invited to this wedding would be a great opportunity to wear my ASOS Curve Floral Shirt Dress.  I LOVE how the dress was flowy, long, and appropriate enough to wear for a garden wedding. I received tons of compliments from the wedding guest. Sipping wine,laughter, and creating memorable moments made the experience all the more joyful!

Headpiece L0VE

Hey Loves!

On a random  adventure searching through my photos, I came across a few photos that I happen to love and I thought hmmm..... there is clearly and obvious reason why these pictures happen to be my favorite. That is because of my head piece choices ! I am currently obsessed with these floral turban, crown looking items.  

I am not sure how or even when the love for headpiece started. Perhaps a celebrity I admire may have been wearing one and from then walaahhh! L0L. Anyway I find that these turban, floral headpiece create a hipster, creative, and innovative way to bring spice or creativity to a regular outfit. I am all for the simple outifts, light makeup, and a turban.

I recently was invited to a get together for a friend a week ago. Which was the perfect opportunity for me to get dolled up and have a good time! Since graduating in May, I haven't had much time to relax and spend time with friends which is literally KILLING   me softly I swear! (saying this in my best Lauryn Hill Voice). Anywayyy . . . I decided to beat my face something light of course! Regular eyebrows, lashes, foundation and blush did enough for me! What added the pop to my face is my GO TO lipstick RUBY WOO! Ladies if you have not purchased this Matte Retro Red color from MAC . . what are you waiting for? I LIVE for this lipstick color; it looks good on every woman in every shade!

50 Shades of Grey vs. Bared to You Review

Hey You Guys !

I'm just posting a quick video on the two New York Times Bestseller novels Sylvia Day's Bared to You and E. L James 50 Shades of Grey.

However, much of the video is my opinion on the 3rd book of Sylvia Day's Crossfire series. I am really pissed off at the lack of effort she put forth in this book. Even more so upset that I waited 6 months just to know there is a book 4 coming out, and nothing truly happened in the 3rd book. 

I am sure I will get over it . . . eventually.

How did you spend your New Years eve?

I was extremely sick but was fortunate enough to spend it with great friends I've grew up with. It was cool and just what I needed to start off the New Year.

 I'm Visiting family right now in New York and enjoying this mini vacation away from school and work. One thing about being a graduating senior is all the pressure to get your life together in this final year of college. I have to say I feel like I'm managing it well enough.  It's still a lot of work though.

For the New Years I have only 5 major goals that WILL be achieved by December 2013. So I'm gonna share them with you and periodically let you guys know how well I'm achieving them throughout the year.

1. Graduate from Morgan State University with my Bachelors of Arts in English :)

2. Lose 30lbs by graduation on May 18th 2013

3. Purchase my first Car 

4. My dream Job

5. GET INTO MY DREAM GRAD SCHOOL !!

These are just a few of my goals for the year of 2013. I know they are all achievable.

BDAY CELEBRATION IN NEW YORK

Over the Labor Day weekend I went back home to New York to celebrate my best friend 21st Birthday Celebration. It was so much fun. Being a full time student and working full time takes all my time away, so I'm almost never able to go home. I am very grateful I did make it back home for this gathering !

Review: On The Fifty Shades Trilogy

Hey Loves ! How are you guys?

Ahhhhh so I know you guys have heard of all the fuss about E. L James Fifty Shades of Grey and can I just tell you the books are so GOOOD ! SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD !

In the novel we meet two main characters Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey who begin an unordinary relationship. As the story continues the readers note just how both characters develop and the relationship blossoms. In the end of the trilogy, you end up wanting your own self-made millionaire with a sexy body and grey eyes. *sigh* I don't want to spoil the story if any of you end up getting the book after reading this post, which I hope you will =)

I started reading the first novel on Monday and completed the third book early yesterday; and to be completely honest I just didn't want the story to end. I am actually sad I read it in practically 3 days and the story is over. The controversy of the book is just how erotic and sexual the book is. I have to say the book is ALOT (including BDSM); some of the scenes are mouth dropping, not to mention out of this world BUT James has created a storyline which makes the reader want to keep turning the page, everything is so unexpected in Anastasia and Christians love affair which is honestly what kept me reading. The book plays out like a movie in your head (well at least to me it did lol).

Its really a great Trilogy, some reviews I've read said its unrealistic, BDSM is over the top, etc, but honestly FICTION novels are supposed to go beyond the imagination which is why I LOVE the story. The books gets 5 STARS from me but if I could give it more that I really would ! I say give it a try at least read the first novel and if it's not for you then at least you gave it shot !

Hey Loves ! Just a quick post today. I am visiting my dad and family in Atlanta for a few days. I love it out here. I would actually move here and I'm really considering it after graduation next year. My sisters and I went shopping and I pick up a few accessories from selected stores. I also ordered a few new items and I can't wait to go home and show you guys!

First WishList for 2012

Okay so for the longest I have been trying to figure out how in the world to make a wishlist "/
Well after much research I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT =D (Thank God)
So of course I put a few items that I have been eyeing for sometime that will be in MY closet soon enough !

My mom always taught me to create vision boards. She always says "Speak it into Existence". I am a firm believer in that phrase with not only with materialistic things BUT also school, work, and every aspect of my life. HOW ARE YOU??? I'VE MISSED YOU GUYS "/ I know i have been SLACKING on my posting and that is horrid but i am here to update you guys !! Soooooooo here we go ^_^

Okay so Feb 7 was my home girl Dakota's 22cd birthday. She's been going through so much these past few months so me and her roommate decided to throw her a SURPRISE PARTY !!!! I love doing nice things for my friends it warms my heart ! Anyway she celebrated her birthday for the entire week & of course for you guys I snapped pics.






On Tuesday we went out to dinner to Moe's. Moe's is this cool seafood restaurant downtown Baltimore.It's pretty pricey but the food is good. For dinner I wore this maxi dress from Forever 21 and my Bakers mustard wedges. The chain is from a boutique in CT and the earrings were thrifted.







Saturday we went to STADIUM !!! The livest strip club in D.C. that was my first time ever going to a strip club and BOY was it a sight to SEEEEEE. LOL. I wore my red skirt from H&M, my Blazer H&M, and my top from Forever21, my tights a store in NYC and I wore these new Bakers booties I purchased for only 50 Bucks !!! :)
